"I don't want to go back," she said to the counselor at the ropes challenge camp. She had just spent two weeks learning more about herself, about facing her weaknesses and about how important is the acceptance and support of those around her. "I don't want to go back, because people there don't know to care and help. I want to stay here. For the first time, I feel important, and loved," she said. Her counselor smiled. "I know how you feel. But remember, you came here to learn just what you've learned, so you can go back a different person.
