I believe that it was...

I believe that it was Reuben Youngdahl who told the story of the inactive member who returned to church in the Easter season. He had tried everything in his time away, but wine, women and song had not satisfied his longing. "Only God can do that," he confessed to his pastor.
"While you were away, what did you miss most?" his pastor asked. "Most of all," the man replied, "I missed the trumpets in the morning."
Saint Paul blows the Easter trumpet loud and clear in this text. The high note of Saint Paul's trumpet solo is, "The last enemy to be destroyed is death."
