I am always fascinated by the process of passing on the torch at the Olympics. The flame is carried by young and old, by those who are physically able and those physically challenged. In an endless line they run, one handing the flame to another until finally the great Olympic flame is ignited and it burns throughout the games. The flame carries with it a sense of what might be in the world if we all caught the vision of cooperation and fellowship that is so real during the games.
