How much money is enough money? The newspapers and magazines tell us that some CEOs of major companies make $10, $20, $30, $40 and $50 million per year. Some athletes earn $5 million a year. One begins to wonder how much a person is worth in terms of dollars and cents. Is anyone worth, say, $5 million a year to throw a baseball? What does it say about the fan, the consumer who pays a huge price for a seat at the ballpark? What does it say about the value that women and men place on life? Is a $5 million baseball player worth more than a $200 a week social worker?
