A hobo got a few dollars from a pastor. As usual the story was the heart of sincerity. He would pay it back, no matter. The pastor could depend on it, as soon as he got to Hoboken and got the job promised him.
The pastor, jaundiced by past experience said, "Don't bother to send it back; just pass it on. When somebody else is where you are today, pass it on."
A counselee, after describing a set of horrible events in her life, asked the pastor, "I came through, thanks to God and you, but what does it all mean?"
