Here Jesus speaks to his disciples about his return at the end of the age. He tells them no one knows the day or the hour and concludes by saying one also must be ready. How do we get ready for anything? We must look ahead. We have to see the possibilities that are there and then move toward that goal, taking the right path. One person who demonstrates this ability is the all-time leading scorer in the National Hockey League, Wayne Gretzky. Someone once asked him how he managed to become the greatest goal-scorer in hockey history.
