Since he had reluctantly re-entered the "singles" world, he often found himself feeling lonely, left-out and lost. Having little "discretionary" income, he was forced to be imaginative in the use of his free time. Movies, plays and gourmet dinners were no longer very viable options because of their expense. So, he often strolled the mall, enjoying the sights and sounds, feeling good about getting a little much-needed physical exercise.
