Growing a good garden is an art. The successful gardener has to till the ground, plant the seeds, provide ample access to sunlight, add fertilizer, and be sure that it is regularly watered. But perhaps most importantly of all, a garden requires constant attention to the removal of weeds. In a garden, if the conditions are right for plants to grow and thrive, the same conditions will encourage the weeds. A successful garden can only come about by being vigilant about removing the weeds that choke the life out of good plants. Our lives are very much like a garden.
