A group of boys was playing a pick-up game of baseball one summer. One of the younger children in the neighborhood was playing right along side the older boys. He was about seven years old, and he did not understand very much about baseball. As you probably know, the bases are referred to as first, second, third and home. Well, that young boy was on third base when one of his teammates hit a line drive into the outfield for a base hit. But to everyone's surprise, the young boy continued to stand on third base. "Go home! Go home!" the boys yelled at him.
