A good athlete is someone...
A good athlete is someone who learns to compete within his/her limits. A pitcher in baseball knows where speed, control, and mechanics all come together. If the pitcher tries to throw harder than his limits, he will lose control and be very ineffective, no matter how fast he throws the ball. Yet, competing within those limits is not a guarantee of success. It simply raises our expectations. The law is powerless to deliver salvation. Trying to keep the law sometimes leads to excessive pride or total frustration. It has serious limits, and when we exceed those limits, we fail.
