The First Church of Missing...

The First Church of Missing the Point believed it was on the cutting edge of ministry. The minister of the congregation was so proud of their accomplishments. The church had just completed the biggest, most well-equipped "Christian Life Center" in the city. Built at a cost of $3.7 million, this facility had a swimming pool, two gymnasiums, four racquetball courts, and a weight lifting room that put to shame the local YMCA.
The clergy and laity of this congregation had caught the vision of a risen and transfigured Christ and responded by erecting a monument. They need to listen to the voice of God which came to Peter when he made a similar suggestion: "This is my Son, my Chosen, listen to him!"
