Finally, a Bible passage we can understand. If there is anything we can understand it is blood sacrifice, we do it often enough. We have a penchant for that strongest of all blood sacrifices, war. Statistics say that the world starts more than 40 new wars each year. There are bloody revolutions through Europe. There is civil unrest in the middle east. There is racial tension in South Africa. There is class warfare in India. That is only a few of the wars and unrest that we read about each day. We certainly do understand the need for blood sacrifices.
