On the facing of the upper deck at Texas stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play, hang the names and numbers of those players whose jerseys have been retired or otherwise honored by the same Dallas Cowboys. On the outfield fence at Candlestick Park in San Francisco are the names and numbers of the players that the Giants have retired over the years. From the rafters of Boston Gardens hang the retired jerseys of former Boston Celtic players. Championship banners hang over these and many other coliseums and stadiums throughout these United States.
