Everyone knows the need to...

Everyone knows the need to be prepared for emergencies. When such emergencies are
recurring, like hurricanes, one should have a plan in place, part of which is having
sufficient supplies. The city of West Melbourne, Florida, in The Sun Newsletter,
offered this advice:
Remember, be prepared, get your plan together now so you can protect yourself and your family by planning ahead. Review your plan with all family members, even those who live elsewhere. Decide where you will go if evacuated and if you can take your pets. Buy and store your supplies ahead of time. Have materials on hand to board up windows and tie down sheds. Keep an eye on the gas level in your vehicles and fill up if a storm is impending. Get cash well in advance. It could be days before gas pumps, bank machines, supermarkets, phones, and electricity are in service after a severe storm. Preparation will not only lower the risk of potential damage to your property, but can also save the lives of your loved ones. (April/May 2000)
Paul rejoices that the Corinthian Christians have a full supply of the Spirit's gifts, which will meet their needs until the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
