Every year Jerry Lewis has a telethon to raise money for the treatment of and to research a cure for muscular dystrophy. He always ends the telethon with the emotional singing of the song, "You'll Never Walk Alone." He means it two ways. If you have such a disease as MD, you won't walk without the help of millions of people, funding the treatment and research, and the hundreds who have dedicated themselves to the giving of the treatment and research.
