Emily was four years old. She has worshiped with her mother almost every Sunday of her life. Her father, who was not brought up in the church, rarely comes to worship.
One of Emily's favorite parts of the worship service is singing, "Glory to God." Emily sings, "Glory to God," at the top of her voice when she is worshiping, when she is playing, when she is riding in the car, and when she is going to sleep. Her singing brings a smile to all those who hear her. Her singing bears witness to God's glory.
Not too long ago, Emily's mother asked me, "Have you heard what's happened?"
"No," I replied.
"The other day Emily called me to come and hear Daddy singing God's song in the shower. She took me by the hand and we stood outside the door and listened. He really was singing God's song," she said.
