In an election year all politicians want to know what the people are saying about them. As the election draws nearer there will be polls taken for major candidates every day. On the basis of what they hear from the polls they will form their messages. And the messages may change depending upon what special interest group they are meeting with that hour. Because of this kind of rhetoric the average man has grown very weary of politicians. Jesus did not change his message, but he honed it on his disciples and then shared it with the people.
