This earth of ours is made of the same material as the moon or Mars or any other planet; yet it is vastly different, and that's what makes our life here possible. For example, we need oxygen in order to breathe and maintain life, as well as for fire. There is no oxygen on other planets and only a very limited supply here. Since we breathe it in and exhale carbon monoxide, which is deadly poison, it would not take long before the precious supply of oxygen was used up and the planet became uninhabitable.
