Earl and Ruth were raising a small family. Their oldest son seemed to lie around and drag his feet when doing chores. For years this went on, despite the efforts of Earl and Ruth to instill a work ethic in the boy. Television and video games seemed to be all that was on his mind despite their example and instruction.
