Driving one day to a new church development conference I crossed the causeway connecting Brunswick, Georgia, with St. Simon's Island. On either side were the marshes of Glynn. At that moment, I recalled the words of the Georgia poet Sidney Lanier who, looking upon the same scene years ago, wrote: "As the marsh hen secretly builds on the watery sod, Behold I will build me a nest on the greatness of God."
You may recall these words from your high school or college days. Is that not what we all aspire to -- to build a nest on the greatness of God?
