Dietrich Bonhoeffer walked to the execution yard in April 1945 saying, "This is the end. But for me it is the beginning of life." How could he say such a thing? He knew his life was hid with God in Christ. Like Paul, he was at home in two worlds simultaneously. He was an Easter Person all the while he fought Satan in Nazi Germany.
