Curtis always tried to get on the good side of every new boss in the company. He tried to say things within an earshot's distance of the new management to get him some "brownie points." One day he was telling a fellow worker that sharing one's private earnings with others through government programs is "Godless Communism." The new supervisor commented that without the sharing of goods, private corporations are only profit oriented. The reason why workers have any health, vacation, and workplace safety benefits is because there are those who are concerned about the group, rather than exclusively private ownership. Today's Acts 4 text is one vision as to how people share with others in need in the community.
