Clouds are fascinating to watch...
Illustration
Clouds are fascinating to watch as they scud their way across the sky. Early in the beginning of this century, the United States Weather Bureau developed a cloud classification system. "Cloud Nine" was used by the meteorologists to describe the highest and wispiest form of cloud. By the early 1920s, being on "cloud nine" was being used in everyday parlance to signify someone who was in a state of euphoria, blissfully happy. All of us have been on cloud nine.
