At a clergy seminar, Dr. Neill Hamilton, then a New Testament professor from Drew Theological School, asked the participants this question: "On a scale of one to ten, with ten being perfect, how does God view you?" Clergy offered all kinds of numbers. But a few got the point. The correct answer is ten. When God looks at the Christian, what is seen is Christ living in us. We are, therefore, judged accordingly. It is called justification by faith.
