The Church was in need...

The Church was in need of missionaries for foreign service. The minister had preached a moving message on missions and at the close of his sermon he extended the invitation to anyone who felt the call of God to become a missionary to the foreign field of service.
The congregation saw their minister draw back in horror when a 17--year--old girl started down the aisle of the church, responding to his invitation. Yes, it was his own daughter. He was heard saying, "I didn't mean you."
Peter could have said, "Not you master, surely, you were speaking of someone else when you said, 'The Son of man must suffer many things ... and be killed, and after three days rise again.'"
