The child watched her father...
Illustration
The child watched her father driving the huge tractor when all of a sudden he swooped her up onto the seat in front of him and said, "You steer." She tightened her hands around the wheel and together they bounced about the field.
One day, when she was older, she remembered and thought of God as loving as her father, in control of the tractor. Oh, yes, she was steering but God held the power and her protection. She did her part. She kept her hands on the steering wheel, knowing God's hands were there too, God's arms, cradling her. She called it faith, trust.
