Buddha once said, "He who experiences the unity of life sees his own self in all beings, and all beings in his own self, and looks on everything with an impartial eye." At least part of that was what Peter discovered in his encounter with Cornelius. Peter learned that God shows no partiality: all people are acceptable to God. And, it is little wonder: God certainly sees "his own self" in each human being, for we were all created in the image of God, male and female.
