In the boonies
Commentary
When people ask us where we live, we like to respond by saying, "out in the boonies." Our home address is a tiny Georgia village over fifty miles north of Atlanta. Before the influx of suburbanites like us from Atlanta, there was little here. The main street of our village is one block long and unfortunately is now comprised mostly of empty storefronts. Actually we enjoy the isolation and quiet of the region while still being within easy driving distance from Myrna's church. But living in the boonies is not without its drawbacks.
