Before becoming a pastor, Dan...

Before becoming a pastor, Dan worked on a maintenance crew at a holiday camp. The people he worked with were nice people, but they were not Christians. When someone swore at Dan, or made fun of him, he repaid that evil with good. At lunchtime Dan would pray for his co-workers.
One day, one of the other workers named Sam came over and asked Dan, "You're a Christian aren't you?" Dan smiled and said, "Yes." "I thought so," Sam said, "because you're different from everybody else around here." Then he began to ask Dan questions about God. It turned out that Sam and his wife were expecting a baby and the pregnancy wasn't going very well. Dan prayed with him, right there in full view of everybody on the crew. By the middle of summer, Sam was a Christian, too.
