We were looking through some family photos the other evening, pictures taken from when we first moved into our present home, which was now twelve years ago. As you might expect, each picture was striking because of all that had changed. The interior of the house looks so different in many ways — different furniture, different colored walls, different carpeting, and such. The outside, likewise, looks different, as my wife has invested a good deal of time recreating and improving the landscaping. And then, of course, there are the people themselves.
