Anyone who's ever booked a vacation is familiar with travel brochures. Sometimes the
promises in the brochures don't live up to reality. Here's a list of travel-brochure promises
and what they really mean:
* Old-world charm (bathroom down the hall)
* Tropical (rainy)
* Majestic setting (a long way from town, at the end of a dirt road)
* Options galore (nothing is included)
* Nominal fee (outrageous charge)
* Superior accommodations (mint on the pillow)
* All the amenities (mint on the pillow, plus a shower cap)
