Anyone who travels the superhighways of our country is familiar with an engineering accommodation relative to long upward grades. More often than not, these lengthy grades will feature a special right hand lane for slower vehicles, like trucks and four cylinder automobiles. The sign highlighting this accommodation usually reads, "Slower Traffic Keep Right." This third lane enhances traffic flow and helps reduce accidents.
