Anyone who is stopped for...
Illustration
Anyone who is stopped for a traffic offense and is believed to be driving under the influence of alcohol is asked to do a variety of physical tasks to determine if he or she is indeed drunk.
One of those tasks is to walk a straight line. If the driver is unable to walk the straight line or do the other tasks he or she is then arrested for driving under the influence. The driver has proven that he or she is driving impaired, not in the ways of the wise but in the ways of the foolish.
