Annie had been diagnosed with terminal cancer at age 36 and was the mother of three sons. She was a single mother who had done everything she could do to raise her sons well. As the days went forward, Annie realized that someone needed to care for these boys upon her death. She asked me to speak with several couples in the congregation about caring for her boys upon her death. A couple who had never had children and had been married thirty years, came forward offering to take these boys into their home.
