Anne returned to her hometown...

Anne returned to her hometown for the first time in years; something she vowed she
would never do. While growing up, Anne and her mother never saw eye-to-eye on
anything: school work, boyfriends, even an after-school job. Dinner often became
shouting matches with Anne literally running out of the house. She accused her mother of
being too strict because she could not do some of the things other girls her age were
doing. Anne became angry at her mother, blaming her for everything.
