"And to him was given dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him ..." The reference is to "one like a son of man" who comes "with the clouds of heaven," whose "dominion is an everlasting dominion" and whose kingdom is "one that shall not be destroyed." There is only one in all history to whom that description applies. Consider him. A group of British noblemen were gathered in London when the king of Great Britain entered the room. The men all knew the king personally as a man; yet they all honored him as their king.
