Along with the birth of anything there is normally pain, tumult, and distress. Most of us did not come into this world without some or all of the above. In the political spectrum, it is a rare occasion when a country is born without a revolution and without a lot of people coming out on the short end of the stick. There are even ideas that are born out of tribulation, a "bad experience," or something that shakes us into a new direction. For example, the first Sunday school was established in Gloucester, England, in 1780 by Robert Raikes.
