After three miscarriages June was once again pregnant. She didn't know how she should feel. On the one hand she was apprehensive, anxious, fearful, and panicky. But she was also hopeful, relieved, joyful, and calm. The doctor had said that this time everything looked just right. In fact the doctor was so positive that June decided to risk telling a few of her closest family members and friends. "Don't tell anyone else!" she warned. "I want to make sure everything is fine with the baby first."
June's family members and friends understood her need to keep silent about her pregnancy, but they were also a bit frustrated. They wanted to shout the good news out loud.
