Good evening! Tonight is Christmas Eve. I want you to think
back to the first Christmas Eve 2,000 years ago. An angel came to
the shepherds and told them that the Savior of the world had been
born in Bethlehem. The shepherds went into Bethlehem to see this
wonderful thing. What do you think they expected to see? (Let
them answer.) They probably expected to see a baby in a situation
like this. (Show the picture.) After all, this was the Son of
God, the Messiah, and the one who would be the Savior of the
