facsimile tickets to three destinations
Good morning! Let's pretend that we want to take a trip to
New York and have bought an airline ticket to go there. Here are
three tickets. Which one of these would we use to go to New York?
(Show the three tickets and let them answer.) Yes, the one that
will take us to New York is the one that shows New York as our
destination. Where will we wind up if we use one of the other
tickets? (Show the other two tickets and let them answer.) Of
course, you're right. You can't get to New York if you use a
ticket to Chicago or Los Angeles.
