Good morning! I suppose all of you have been seeing all
kinds of ads like this for the last few weeks. (Show the ads.)
Now it costs a lot of money to put an ad like this in the paper.
Why do you suppose this store is willing to spend a lot of money
to put the ad in the paper? (Let them answer.) Yes, of course,
they want to sell things, and to do that they have to tell people
about what they are selling. People won't buy what the stores
have to sell if they don't know about it.
