Good morning, boys and girls. How many of you have ever been in a boat? (let them answer) Boat rides are fun, aren't they? (let them answer) How many of you have ever been on a boat ride at night when you can't see anything and the water looks dark and scary? (let them answer) That doesn't sound like fun, does it? Can you imagine yourself in a boat at night with the wind blowing the water in your face, and your clothes getting wet while the waves are coming over the side of the boat so that your shoes are getting wet? (let them answer) It doesn't sound like a lot of fun, does it?
