a piece of string
Today I brought a piece of string. Why would I bring a
piece of string to this worship service? Does anybody have any
ideas? (Let them answer.) Sometimes people use a piece of
string tied around their fingers to help them remember something.
Tonight I want to remember something very, very important. I
want to remember about Jesus and what he did on this night a long
time ago. Do you think a piece of string is a good way to
remember what happened on Holy Thursday? (Let them answer.)
