Our debt is paid
Children's sermon
Object:
a check made out to God for a million dollars, signed by
Jesus
Good morning! Does anyone know what a "debt" is? (Let them
answer.) A debt is something that you owe to another person or to
a company. For instance, if your parents are buying your house,
they probably borrowed the money from a lender to buy it. They
have a "debt" for whatever amount they borrowed to buy the house.
There are all kinds of debts. You might borrow some money
from a friend to buy an ice cream cone or something else that you
didn't have the money to buy right at the time you wanted it.
