Good morning, boys and girls. Did you have breakfast this morning? (let them answer) Did any of you have cold cereal? (hold up the box and let them respond) That's a common breakfast for most children in our country. At the grocery store cereal boxes of all different kids fill up a whole aisle. Have you ever heard about breakfast being the most important meal of the day? (let them answer) Breakfast is the first meal we eat after not eating all night long. What are you supposed to eat at breakfast? (let them answer) You need some fruit or fruit juice for vitamin C.
