Children's Activity
Materials:
Tissue paper in bright colors, cut into 8" x 10" pieces
Green pipe cleaners
Directions:
1.
Give the children each four to six sheets of tissue paper.
2.
Have the children fold the papers accordion style, leaving the sheets stacked together.
3.
Give the children each a pipe cleaner and tell them to twist one end of the pipe cleaner around the center of the accordion stack of tissue paper.
4.
Help the children gently pull the layers of paper toward the center, forming the petals of their flowers.
