The Good Shepherd
Children's Activity
Materials:
Black construction paper
Popped popcorn
Glue
White crayon or white chalk
Scissors
Directions:
1.
Give the children each a piece of black construction paper and tell them they are going to make black-faced sheep.
2.
Instruct the children to trace their hands on the black paper, spreading their fingers wide apart.
3.
Help the children cut out their handprints, turning them over so the fingers point down, like the legs of sheep.
4.
Let the children glue popcorn on the palms of the hands, not on the fingers or the thumbs.
5.
Finally, have the children draw sheep faces on the thumbs with the white crayon or chalk.
6.
Eat the rest of the popcorn.
