A newspaper article about a heroic act
I have here an article in the paper about a person who ...
(relate the newspaper story). What this person did was a very
brave and unselfish act. Do you think this person is a good
example for all of us? (Let them answer.)
On the night before he died, Jesus did something that he
wanted to be a good example for all of us. He got down on his
hands and knees and washed the feet of all his disciples. Now, why
do you suppose Jesus did that? (Let them answer.)
Jesus wanted to show the disciples that we should all be
