Do you know what I'm thinking? (Let them answer.) Is there any
way you can know what I'm thinking? (Let them answer.) We can
know by talking -- by using words. We use words to tell each
other what we are thinking.
I can tell what someone was thinking even though that person is now dead. How? That's right -- WORDS! I can take this book and read it and learn what the author, who died in (year), once thought. Words are wonderful.
