Here's the dictionary again! What's that mean? (get responses) There must be a word in today's reading that I want to understand better. Dictionaries are such helpful books. See if you have one at home. If you do, you can look up words you don't understand too. Here's today's word: "eyewitness." Can anyone tell me what that word means? (see if someone can) The dictionary says that it's a person "who has personally seen someone or something and can bear witness to the fact." In other words, an eyewitness has seen something with his or her own eyes and can tell someone else about it.
